KickOff Meeting

Do you understand the EU?  Right now, there are many critical moments happening in Europe and the world. Populists spread their propaganda on more and more channels and it seems that the trust in democratic systems – and their institutions – is getting lower and lower.

With this project we want to work on a more inclusive Europe. With the creation of an interactive digital lexicon we will provide key information from the EU legislation in easy language. The more citizens understand, the more they can participate and the more they get resilient against disinformation and political propaganda. Furthermore, during the project we want to ask citizens what it needs to make EU language and communication easier. The more people understand, the more will get empowered to participate in our democratic life.

Now we had our KickOff Meeting in the city of Göttingen. The vibrant city with a lot of students was the perfect place to dive into this new experience. And we are ready for the next tasks: The launch of citizen dialogues and our online survey where we want to ask citizens on how to make EU legislation easier understandable. Europe starts with you!
